VISITING AND COVID-19 GUIDELINES FOR THE DOG LOVER SHOW VISITOR IN 2022

The Dog Lover Show will be held in accordance with Scottish Government guidance.

As of Monday 21 March, assuming there are no significant adverse developments in the course of the virus, it is expected the legal requirement to wear face coverings in certain indoor settings and on public transport will convert to guidance.

However, it will continue to strongly recommend the wearing of face coverings in shops and other indoor public places, and on public transport.

Current legal requirements are expected to be lifted on 21 March, subject to the state of the pandemic.

This includes requirements on the use of face coverings; the collection of customer details for contact tracing purposes, and for businesses to have regard to guidance on COVID-19 and to take reasonably practicable measures set out in the guidance.

Visitors are no longer required to show proof of vaccination status or negative test for entry.

We will continue to monitor Government guidelines and restrictions relating to COVID-19, and will communicate in advance of the event what guidelines and restrictions will be in place.

Please ensure you read any emails you receive from The Dog Lover Show and be aware that guidelines and restrictions can change.

You should not attend The Dog Lover Show if you:

  • Have received a positive test result for COVID-19 in the 10-days prior to your visit
  • Have come into close contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19 in the 10 days prior to your visit, unless you are fully vaccinated (second dose to be at least 14 days before your visit) AND have a negative PCR test.
  • Have a high temperature, a new continuous cough or loss/change to your sense of smell or taste

We thank you in advance for your co-operation in helping to keep everyone safe.

From all the team at The Dog Lover Show.
